Cloudflare rules can block or rate limit by type of bot
CF can also rate limit or block by the type of bot as well which can be useful if there's certain types of bots causing you trouble. It'll only work for bots that accurately identify themselves so having generic rate limit rules like yours is still a good thing.
Seems fine. The redirects will probably have to be implemented on your CDN or webserver/host directly. You'll have some SEO confusion for a bit which you may or may not care about.
We use Front (front.com) at work and it's pretty good. We have a shared address that any of us can send from, all of us can see replies to it, but emails get assigned to specific people. Handles when somebody is out of office too.
