Awesome Viet, it looks great! This is one I'm definitely excited to eventually do because it's such a fun looking model.

Congrats! I'm working on this one right now and it's going to be the death of me (so I'm splitting up sessions with other models). You nailed it though =)
Nice. Pro Acryl Ivory & Bright Neutral Grey factor into a lot of my work... so nice and rare to get white and off-white colors that cover well.
Very cool, nice job working with the whites & blues! It's not easy to make those look clean like this.
Lots of content is great news! After Monster Train 2's crazy amount of content since it launched last year, we might be headed for back to back years of rogue-like deckbuilding greatness.
Why thank you! =) Really appreciate it.
Aw thank you Bren, that means a lot! Nice when I can get something interesting out of smaller models too.
Nice work Ah'lina! I really like the shading you got around her clothing to add the extra depth between that and her skin tone.
One recommendation is to check out various miniature-filled board games, typically dungeon-crawl types that tend to feature a wide array of enemy monsters. you'll get some duplicates certainly, but usually some hero types as well, and typically for a good overall price.
Good luck Rae!
Looking awesome Crystal, keep it up! =)
You should be, Andrew! That swirl is majestic. Well done~
Picture of a hand-painted model of a Thug, a sprinting villain from Odalin, holding a scimitar behind him, with a fake shadow painted on the ground beneath it.
Another tiny one done while working on Moon Girl; I had fun doing the fake shadow below it with my usual comic-y highlighting. From Odalin, here's a Thug painted!

Lots of time and energy could be saved by focusing on "personality maxing" first and foremost.
Then you land someone who loves you as you age, and bam, every problem solved!
Yeah I like that change - good pivot on that!
Still looks great! But I sympathize, I bought a leaf punch and printed paper for different colors of leaves, but when you punch it, the white core of the paper is too strongly visible. So I haven't used it much due to the extra effort, boo~
Looking fantastic, congratulations on the result, regardless if there's any more touch-ups to be done!
Great detail-work Victor, and lovely staging on the shot!
Thanks Crystal! It will be a fun piece when completed but boy there's a lot to be done and to clean up first =)
Exactly, extra motivation is great! Sometimes I paint deliberately thinking about wanting a model to be ready for a monthly competitions, others times I just retroactively pick a favorite.
But when the result is as good as yours was, then all the more reason to be happy about it~
-No- and I really wish I had, despite the delays... they're so fun to work on and were really helpful for me developing the style I use these days.
But I just wasn't paying attention much to Crowdfunding at the time and missed it. Maybe I'll grab secondhand in the future.
Wow, all over a weekend? Looks awesome Lloyd, great job~
Very fun work on the helmet there. Well done!
Oh that is ballsy, but I wish you the best of luck! It will be uh... maybe 2029 before I clear that backlog? X)
And if I were to get a hold of a DC United Promos box...
WIP of Moon Girl & Devil Dino. A monstrous model with details designed to break my blacklining spirit.
Picture of a hand-painted model of the Marvel hero Ghost Rider, with his chains wrapped around his arm/in his fists, painted as though he's heating them up, with fake shadows on the ground beneath him.
So, I'm working this Moon Girl & Devil Dino model, but it's insane and it's going to break me before I'm done. Will need a single session for blacklining alone. Sooo I pivoted and did a much smaller Ghost Rider as a break in the meantime.
Hey it looks awesome regardless, and congratulations on finishing up a project that was taunting you =)
Wow you were on a roll. Nice frosted hair tips!

Went right on back to my wheelhouse of comic-style highlighting, and ended up enjoying this one a lot. From Marvel Zombies, my take on painting Ghost Rider!

Looks great! Glad you got some time to knock these out =)
They look amazing! All the hard work is paying off big time. Congrats Bren~
Going to agree here. When I was often crowdfunding games, by then I'd learned that a single rule/mechanic could be enough for a game not to be a good fit for us. I'd see games that sounded amazing, then read the rules and found some crazy poison-pill aspect we would hate.
No rulebook: big red flag!
