Like, given these NTT faculty are already so underpaid yet do 2x as much teaching as TT/T faculty its clear that the hope is NTT faculty won't enter the Voluntary Separation Program, but still l.o.l.

Eligible tenured faculty and administrators whose requests are approved and are not withdrawn within the prescribed period will receive payment equal to one (1) year’s annual base pay as stated in their respective UNT faculty salary notice for fiscal year 2026. Eligible professional faculty whose requests are approved and are not withdrawn within the prescribed period will receive a one-time payment equal to six (6) month’s annual base pay as stated in their respective UNT faculty salary notice for fiscal year 2026.

In the midst of a budget crisis. its nice to see that the Uni can STILL find a way to give precarious, already underpaid NTT faculty the short end of the stick...
