it took three tries to finally get into the peabody room at the gtown neighborhood library lol. first time I thought it was open bc it was the first saturday of Feb, but in fact it was the final saturday of Jan; second time the room was closed bc the room was “too cold” (top floor, old building)

once again pondering what we mean when we say "private museum" in this country. if we wanna be real, the Whitney is as much of a private museum as Glenstone or the Rubell, legally speaking. the Guggenheim is private, the Art Institute is private, MOCA is private.
