Enjoyed today’s post-dusk walk around the neighbourhood with Kiddo, particularly the part where we *checks notes* stopped in front of every house to peer at the alarm set-up and discuss respective strengths, weak points, and installation methods of various security systems

The basics:
- PhD student at the Uni of Birmingham, looking at representations of gender, sexuality and nationalism in 20th century women's boarding school novels (written for ADULTS, not children!) from the UK, France and Germany
- interdisciplinary mess
- usually quite sleepy
