The first #MashinMusic of 2026 commences! ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐พ
Starting off the year with some mixed mashbill mashing and @twentyonepilots.
.
Recommended by my son, I wonder if our tastes will align or diverge over time. Right now I think he's got a good ear. ๐๐

Sour puss! ๐๐
Great on the Bassoon! ๐
I love blueberries! ๐ ๐ซ
However, like most fruit, they are infinitely superior homegrown or from a local fruit farm when in season. (June to Sept)
This time of year can be quite lean, I recommend blood oranges or forced rhubarb.
That's a healthy pour!

Spirit of Birmingham ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐พ
Surprisingly quite pleasant. Better at room temp, so more like a red, quite happy with it really. ๐๐ท
Got a couple to keep in the beer cellar.

Founded by a Brummie, must be good! ๐๐ฅ๐พ
We threw this into our blind tastings during RnD. It always came bottom. ๐
You sound like a connoisseur!
You are probably right, they were red grapes, fermented on the skins.
Pinot Noir Precose. I know very little about wine.
Either way it smells amazing and tastes of wine! ๐๐ท๐
Bottles of homemade red wine on the kitchen table. Pixelated red art in background.
I taught myself to ferment by making wine about 20 years ago. Don't think I've made any since.
So I've just bottled a natural wine made with grapes from a friend's garden.
At 9%, it's a bit thin, but smells amazing. Will wash the turkey down quite nicely. ๐ท๐
Beer time!
Set up our bar for tomorrow @ the drop inn, digbeth.
Had a super busy week, and today was pretty full on too!
Cheers to the weekend ๐ป when I get even busier ๐๐

Nice to see you, sorry I didn't get chance to chat. The busiest we've ever been at any festival! ๐ #StillRecovering
I always ask for what's local, and if there's nothing, I drink "council pop".
If pubs are to survive past the Christmas boost, they have to start offering better products and better service.
The bars that ARE thriving in Birmingham, are already doing this. ๐ช
#local handmade spirits popup at cathedral square in Brum, here all week.
Treat yourself or someone else to an extra special gift this Christmas. Buy quality, not quantity.
#ShopLocal
Okay, I've got a few, but any suggestions?
Offer local pours, I hate travelling an hour or more to meet friends and all there is on tap is a Carling ๐คฎ
#exitstageright
If places had better offerings (that I couldn't pick everywhere for less) I'd probably go out more often.
2 weeks to go!
#KendalWhiskyFestival
There's still a handful of Masterclass tickets available!
