Huge thanks to @fediforum.org and @masnick.com for organizing and facilitating today's un-workshop on Growing the Open Social Web. And everyone I met there that I'm gonna spend some time trying to track down and follow.
It was a ton of fun, but now I have too much interesting stuff to think about!

We'll try and marry the high-intensity peer conversations of an unconference with the well-thought-out proposals of a workshop. We need both to make tangible progress on plans for how to grow. In theory, that should work out just fine. In practice: we'll find out!

Over 40 position statements is a lot to read. So we tried to create a summary for what the community thinks how to grow the Open Social Web: fediforum.org/2026-0...
But reading the actual submissions is probably more interesting: fediforum.org/2026-0...
