Does anyone here use both Bluesky & Mastodon? Or Bluesky & Threads? Trying to decide if using Mastodon is worth it or not, or if I should just set up shop permanently here.

Lots of new goodies here, including a sneak peak at an upcoming iOS screen recording update that enables stereo mic, camera capture, and hdr screen capture.
Needless to say, I have a video in the works, but I needed to put it through some stress before I was able to draw sound conclusions. I edited a 1-hour-long video with tons of effects and stuff on the timeline. The machine performed admirably. Here's said timeline:
The M4 Mac mini base is probably the best Mac Apple has ever released from a value perspective. Just incredible to get such capabilities for $599. There's very little to complain about here for probably 90% of the average workflow. I ran into some memory bottlenecks, but my use case is an outlier.

This pop-up appeared when launching Final Cut Pro 11 on macOS. It’s probably like my 10th time launching the app if I had to guess, and this is the first time I’ve seen it. I’m not mad, or anything, but it was a bit jarring. Thought it was a Safari pop-up window for a second. Odd. 🤷♂️

It’s also not so technical that regular people can’t get into it, ala Mastodon. Yet, borrows good features from Mastodon.
BlueSky is…dare I say…really good? I doubted it, but it really does feel like 2012-era twitter. Just the fact that you have nice YouTube embeds is great. How long can it last? I also like Threads…kinda, but it seems weird and a bit spammy. Too much heavy-handed algo. #bluesky

Apple showed out with Final Cut Pro 11, Final Cut for iPad 2.1, and the updated Final Cut Camera app. Great updates across the board that bring meaningful QOL features to the table alongside the type of fun additions that Apple is know for. Nice job, Pro Apps team. #finalcutpro
