Impact of your support: Chicago Waste Strategy in Action We celebrated the City of Chicago implementing two recommendations from Delta's 2021 City of Chicago Waste Strategy: - First ever citywide composting pilot across 15 neighborhood sites, helping divert food waste from landfills - The re-establishment of Chicago Department of Environment, which can help prioritize environmental justice and waste materials management strategies.
