"One persistent portable account that researchers can use everywhere" π
(And I'm looking for pedantry! in 64 characters or so, each word has impact)
Also, very good point. Thanks
That's very true. I'll work it in.
Thanks for the tip. Removed the restrictions.
π Connections
Research networks can communicate and collaborate without restriction
π Content
All works, data, and discourse flow seamlessly between tools
π Activity
Social interactions ripple between tools, building stronger networks
π Identity
One profile gives researchers a persistent identity everywhere forever

How do we do it?

Btw would love feedback on the content. Especially the bottom block talking about the AT protocol. Keeping it non-technical but still explaining the benefits of building on AT protocol.
Slide titled "The Scientific ATmosphere" with subheading "Open, interoperable tools spanning the entire research lifecycle". Shows a 3x4 grid of 12 platforms, each with logo, name, brief description, and URL. Top row: Bluesky (microblogging network), Curvenote (scientific writing and publishing), Chive (decentralised preprint archive), and Lanyards (researcher profiles). Middle row: Hypgen Infinity (AI science platform), Layers (linguistic annotation), Margin (annotation layer), and Octosphere (publication syncing). Bottom row: Semble (research trails), Seams (web annotation), Standard Site (publishing schemas), and Viewsift (discussion platform). At bottom, dark banner reading "The AT Protocol Foundation" with four pillars: Identity (one researcher profile works across every platform), Activity (contributions compound across tools), Content (posts and works flow seamlessly across ecosystem), and Connections (professional networks persist in every tool researchers choose).
Drafting a pitch deck for Lanyards. It just hit me that #ATscience π§ͺ in the #ATmosphere π is very real now.

This is very exciting, and yet, the little voice in my head says "cookie banners".
*unambiguous π
I am not a lawyer. This π is what was explained to me for my situation which was, on the surface, very similar to yours. All they need is invoices, and proof that you took steps to collect it and remind the client yourself. I think I paid ~10% in the end.
Youβre a commercial entity. You have outstanding invoices. There is no legal case to be made. Itβs a clear and ambiguous debt. It sounds like itβs a significant amount of money. A collection agency will probably take that on. And in my experience, so much cheaper than a lawyer.
@antlervel.vet I know youβre probably overwhelmed at the moment with unsolicited advice, but Iβve been in the situation youβre in, being owed money across borders. I want to say that lawyers are not your best tool at the moment. Consider a debt collection agency in Croatia.
