Created this (with the help of our STEM teacher because he has a 3D printer) for my 1:1 student that is learning his short "a" sound. I love it so much.
I have a student teaching placement! I will graduate this year and become a certificated special ed teacher. I'm so freaking excited.

Just recently found out that it WAS Education Support Professionals Week this past week. Shocking considering I AM ONE. My husband, who is also one, but in a different district goes, “Oh yeah, they did something for us every day this week.” Meanwhile, I had zero idea this was a thing. I’m pissed.
Publishers really don’t get it, do they? I would like to buy a book but I’m deciding against it and checking it out from the library instead (not a terrible option, really) because it has been defaced by a book club sticker. For some that might sell it for them, but not for me.

Finished Model Home by Rivers Solomon last night. They sure can write. Another great addition to haunted house horror but also with themes that everyone should read.
And if you haven’t already, read Sorrowland, as well. It’s been a few years, but it’s one that has stuck with me.
