an unpopular or obscure trope you love..
a lot of people claim to hate the miscommunication trope, which is often a non communication trope, and yes the story would be resolved if the characters just talked to each other but the reasons they don't feel safe to do so get to the heart of the relationship.

yeah sometimes you throw everything into the first draft and sift through it and throw a lot out in subsequent drafts.

I was going to make up time by skipping my March vacation entirely and though I've had time off it was because I was sick, which is not really the point of having scheduled off weeks,So I restructured this way. shorter, more frequent breaks.

March 06 - Free Friday
all the text exchanges were turning out too long or lacked context, so I'll talk about how today I decided to reconstruct my writing schedule for the rest of the year after being sick. 6 weeks on, 1 week off, repeat until December. Gives me plenty of runway to write these 2 books.

A white middle-aged man with short dark-blond hair styled into a subtle faux-hawk looks off to the side while standing beside a calm river or pond. He wears rectangular glasses, light facial stubble, a black hoodie over a light blue shirt, and wired earbuds. Three black stripe ear cuffs wrap around the upper part of his ear. Leafless trees and water appear in the background under clear daylight

March 5 - any funny typo that totally changed a sentences meaning?
this is not technically a typo but I believe it meets the spirit of the prompt: I was substitute teaching an 8th grade science class and I meant to say organism and I accidentally said orgasm. The kids were, as you can imagine, chill about it (not).

March 3 - did any book inspire you to start writing or inspire something you wrote?
I've wanted to write books since I realized books were written by actual people (like age 6?) and it's more like everything goes into the brain and gets mixed together, so it's like every book I've ever read inspired every book I've ever written.

A middle-aged white man with short, neatly trimmed light brown hair and closely shaved sides stands outdoors in a park. He wears rectangular dark-framed glasses, white wired earbuds, and layered clothingβa gray knit shirt under a zip-up hoodie. He looks off to the left with a calm, thoughtful expression. Bare tree branches, green grass, and a picnic table are visible in the background under an overcast sky.

March 2 - favorite childhood books
the first full length novel series I really fell in love with (and i read a lot before this just don't remember many of them making much of an impression) was the Prydain Chronicles by Lloyd Alexander. I think these were the first books I bought with my own money (besides comics).
