Some mountaineers, knowing their flying contributes to the melting of the very snow and ice they want to climb, are like "well, you gotta get it while you still can.", and I'm like, "what about the people whose lives depend on those glaciers, you daft twunts."

So much life to live close to home. I feel much more positive about friends flying to see family in far away places, than I do them flying for adventure jollies. I don't judge and I'm still happy for them in a way but I'm not shy about putting my flying thoughts across.

I flew more than my fair share, realised the impact it has and stopped. Last flight was 12 years ago. Highlands, Lakes, Eryri, Pembrokeshire, Peak, Dales, Dorset, Devon and Cornwall. More mountains, sea cliffs, waves, rock and beauty than anyone can fit into one lifetime. ✨️ 🙏🏻 💫

Erm... is Iran allowed to lead on Iran? Is enforcing ideology onto a nation, in any way shape or form, effective or ethical in the short or long term? Dialogue, understanding and encouragement make sense. Protection of citizens who are suppressed makes sense. That might mean asylum. But this?

I was born into a fundamentalist evangelical shit show I had to extract my soul and spirit from. It's so ironic that Trump is pretty much the top candidate for the antichrist moniker in my lifetime, probably ever.

This is heart breaking and horrific, and the Israeli government's genocidal behaviour has been supported and upheld by the action and complicity of our UK government. For the sake of our humanity and relationship with our world, we have to vote for leaders who work against this, not for it. 🙏🏻

If police are claiming activists had plans to steal, that's their justification for arrest and the location is poignant but incidental. If it turns out the activists had no plans and only aired the concept as an idea to explore, the police have gone too far. More investigation is required. 🙏

Thanks for the thought. I just checked and I'm fairly sure the law says that conspiracy to burgle is an offence. I'm just saying that we have to be crystal clear when criticising police behaviour, else we risk undermining our cause. They need calling out and we need to do that with precision. 🙏
