The next four years will be an utter shitshow.

I keep seeing Spotify wrapped posts everywhere. I donβt use Spotify so didnβt think Iβd be able to join in. Then I found this fabulous illustration by Tom Gauld. As an avid audiobook listener, that section is particularly on point π³
Possession is just the most beautiful book. I really enjoyed the audiobook read by Samuel West.
Ah thanks Sky, it was gifted a while back and very well received π
Iβm in this post and I donβt like it.
Just a shawl today, but there is a crocheted blanket on the back of my chair that I really should put on.
Need to crochet some mitts to sit permanently at my desk for when Iβm cold too.
Thank you βΊοΈ

Thank you, the colours really do, donβt they? Itβs such an easy pattern to follow too. Itβs the Mulberry Afghan Tunisian crochet pattern by TLYarnCrafts.

They are beautiful. π
You too Kathleen. Itβs been nice to find your posts again, Iβd missed seeing your updates.
A rainbow coloured blanket made from Tunisian simple stitch. There is a grid pattern in grey yarn over the top of the blanket, created by using raised post stitches. The blanket is draped over a metal garden bench and surrounded by grass.
This picture shows the same blanket as the previous one, but folded over the back of the bench. The rainbow and grey grid patterns are prominent. The blanket has a rainbow and grey border.
I thought Iβd introduce myself, as BlueSky seems to be a friendly place. Iβve been lurking here for a while, I joined when you still needed an invite. I knit, crochet and sew. Iβve designed and published patterns for socks and shawls. Iβm also interested in British politics.
Thank you for including me here π
I found Big Green Books here on Bluesky yesterday and treated myself. I was intrigued by the signed copies of Angela Merkelβs new book. I had a lovely chat with Simon this morning, just checking I was ok to wait for a couple of weeks so my books could be posted together. Fantastic customer service!
Have you seen Rivals? Itβs based on the Jilly Cooper book of the same name so very British. Itβs set in the 80s and apparently that qualifies as a period piece these days π±
But I have to say that the costumes, decor and music are spot on. Itβs on Disney+ in the UK.
I donβt know if this will fall in the affordable category but Iβve used Clinique mascara for forever (sensitive skin means Iβve had to look for kinder alternatives). I like Lash Power, but they have lots of options. All around the Β£25 mark though.
