Also if you want to get into Monster Train 2 modding. I am one of the contributors of the new modding framework.
It doesn't require any programming knowledge to mod MT2, just a small setup. You will learn how the game organizes itself.
Modding is done using json.

I bought back Discipled Inquisitor everyone's favorite miniboss from MT1.
The animations had to be updated from MT1, but works for the most part.
I'd definitely be interested in bringing back all of the minibosses as champions for a mod.

Modding for Monster Train 2 underway!
I whipped up a new status effect, Smirk. Inspired by SMT IV
+5 attack per stack, and enables "bonus effects". Decreases when attacking.
Here I gave a Strike effect, If when attacking you have Smirk apply Dazed.

Titanite is a new status effect in Monster Train 2.
Its the opposite of Melee Weakness. Instead of doubling damage received from an attack it cuts it in half.
Pretty simple to implement in Monster Train 1.

Also I don't recommend anyone mod the demo unless you know what you are doing, I wouldn't want bug reports for people tampering with the game getting to the devs and make their work harder.

I don't know where that extra brightness is coming from, but good start.
Anyway I just subbed the Fel Skeletal Animation with the one my animator did (that I had to export for spine 4.2). Wasn't too bad.
