He can't get up to any funny business and isn't a danger to himself.

Heh. I have opinions but about languages outside the systems/enterprise space.
For systems space I think C, C++, Rust and Zig are fine and enterprise I think C#, Go, Kotlin etc are fine too.
Ones to watch for me are C3 and Odin, and definitely some rough edges with Zig I'd like to see ironed out.
In my mind I think of Rust as "a better C++" and Zig as "a better C".
Obviously a lot of it is just personal preference, and I like the Zig style.
I write a lot of C so Zig just scratches that itch to have something more modern in that zone.
But I don't feel particularly strongly on any lang.
Are you a Ziguana who likes FFXIV? I started a small project to start bringing some of the awesomeness other languages have for accessing XIV data to Zig.
