I swear to god I feel like I used up all of my decent art abilities on my last 3 drawings everything I've drawn in the last week has been SHIT.

Huh, that makes a lot of sense. I guess I don't mind it with that in mind but I still kinda wish it didn't get picked up so often in fan content.

Hot Take - Making pokemon speak with their names sucks. Nothing takes me out of a story more than when a pokemon speaks by saying their name in perfect english. Imagine if your dog just said "Dog!" or "Great Dane!".
Wait, does that make Scooby-Doo a pokemon?

I really didn't think the game had hooked me at that point but I genuinely can't wait to play some more.

It's pretty strange, I'm not a massive fan of extraction shooters, save for casual fare like Arc Raiders, and I wasn't super sold on Marathon at the start of the slam. Then I spent a couple days away on the weekend and all I could think of was getting back home to play.

How on earth did I turn my computer off, leave it for two days, and when turning it back on be met with a boot loop of repeatedly attempting to repair my install of windows 11.

Still aiming to get commissions set up by mid-march, most of my time there has been figuring out reasonable pricing and time-tables along with commission contracts.
I'm expecting it to be rough when I actually start but I want to make sure the process is smooth for myself and clients.

If there's anyone following with an interest in my previously stated works, here's the info:
Pseudoregalia animation delayed, probably gonna be done by mid-march at the latest.
Have other projects in the works (written stories/art/animations) that are at different stages.

Okay, real talk. Motivation was completely shot this month. Job hunting has been massively de-motivational and led to a poor schedule for my creative works. I feel like I make this kind of post every few months but I really want to try and commit to a better schedule for my art.

As it turns out I was just looking for an excuse to draw a cool snake.

A smaller/simple attempt at drawing/painting without lineart, at least for the backgrounds, that's been sitting unfinished for a bit. Warlock looks a little weird, but I'm glad to have this piece in a state I'm happy with.
