My house? W and I are both registered canvassers
@rinrat86
Every day cyclist - its how I get around, not a statement but I don't have a death wish so fight for safer spaces for anybody not in a car. Volunteer in Fish Creek and other conservation orgs because I love nature. Maker of Dinoramas. Fiercely Canadian
My house? W and I are both registered canvassers

Hoping to reach journalists/editors:

- When you're writing about research, include a link to the study.
Why? I'll read your work before a piece by someone who doesn't do this.
They would of had to leave their clothes behind to keep at the 50lb limit on suitcases

I did not realise.
48hours? How far is the trip? We have taken the train from Montreal to Halifax, but thats only 24 hours
Do we ever have boot camps to introduce kids to the care careers (therapists, OT, PT, seniors care, child care...)
Luckily I don't have black yarn fine enough and like the idea of a visible patch here!
Black yarn is impossible
Some amusing replies
That's at a K-9 school with crossing lights.
Close up view of a knitted grey mitten showing a thumb in a hole that needs repair and tiny rows of stitches
Why are all the videos that show those lovely darning techniques on big chunky knits? Can't even find the stitches here...
Oooookay. Perhaps that wasn't the right person to be reviewing meds with?
A bird perched on on bare branches with a snowy background. A Northern Flicker showing the red mustache and white rump of a red-shafted, but also a small patch of red on the nape, and yellow on the wings of a yellow shafted
In Calgary we get both. It took me a long time to understand that the reason I was so bad at determining if they were red or yellow shafted is because they interbreed. This guy is a bit of both
Yes, apparently we need to be squeaky wheels
Go to your trustee, and your city councillor. That's what we did to resolve the fact that a pathway leading to a ped overpass (both snow maintained) led you onto an uncleared path at EP Scarlett
Yes, the CBE, and CSSD are responsible for the snow clearing off a sidewalk.
@paulisci.bsky.social fish doorbell?
It was lovely in the park today. I hope you got home before the wind shifted. We got to enjoy headwind both directions.
As someone from Creston, well aware that the East Kootenays are part of BC, these headlines are pissing me off unreasonably much.
www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...
Knowing the challenges we have in our health care systems, this makes me wonder what issues are in the other European countries.
It gets worse - the east Kootenays continue to switch between MST/MDT!
Honestly I don't care one way or another, just want an end to time changes.
Oh Ffs, this is torture to the families involved. Our seniors need stability, not to be picked up and tossed around.

Going cant sell the kid, David.
It isn't grifting when you take it from incapacitated people, it is straight up theft
Great article
Because you were thinking snacks, not bikes!
I looked at it and thought Costco run!
A chubby grey calico, long-haired cat lies on a cement pad exposing her belly for skritches
This is Something, my dad's delightful farm cat in her fat well insulated winter mode.
Smart-asses are important.
Now in my opinion, Something is lovely, loving, resourceful, tough and somewhat silly with an incredible ability to manage weight and an important part of my dad's life.
