i opened an issue with the cause after cloning locally. i ended up adding a guard for if uri exists just to see if it works, but that doesn't really solve the root problem.

that was their old account before migrating to the buzzfeed subdomain. so it's likely they still had access to that account and doubly posted it there just in case. the DNS record was removed in that process so bluesky says it's invalid

I do want to make sure we're being clear about this:
