There is some dark irony in the US trying to destroy the EU and, at the same time, telling they want Europe to be more like the US. If there is one domain in which we should copy the US, it's in creating United States of Europe.
I don‘t know if Biden was becoming senile or not, but even if he was, at least he still had enough wits to delegate decisions to the adults in the room. Doesn‘t seem to be the case now.
This forces everyone to regroup, which will probably happen in Europe, and look for other allies, not necessarily nicer but more reliable. Democracy will lose, has already lost.
Even when Trump loses the midterms and is more or less neutralized for the two next years, the harm is done. The rest of the world now knows that the US is no more an ally we can trust.

The game was delayed a bit, its publisher being taken over by another one, but it's now here and I just got my author copies of Fruit Cocktail.
According to Britain, China was to import opium because banning it went against the rules of free trade. Similarly, according to the US, Europe's (very limited) protections against the propagation of fake news and conspiracy theories online goes against free speech.
I'm surprised that no one seems to make the parallel between Donald Trump's recent attack on Europe's internet regulation and Britain's opium wars. Of course, we're not at war with the US, so it's far less serious, but the reasoning is the same.

So Trump is giving up helping democratic Europe fend off Russian encroachment, is giving up helping Japan, Korea and Taiwan limit Chinese influence, and has the US army focus on hitting fishing boats in the Caribbean and marching through US Cities. Is this making America great again ?

Entièrement d'accord avec vous. Des gens avec qui l'on n'est pas d'accord peuvent être, par ailleurs, de très bons chercheurs et de très bons enseignants. D'autres peuvent d'ailleurs être de très bons écrivains, de très bons plombiers, de très bons cuisiniers...
