There are zero clear alternatives. Telegram is problematic , agreed. The need to jump has been there.
While it’s just okay, I can’t pretend Signal has everything that made tg seamless to use for furries and creatives.
My fear is how badly fallout from this is gonna spread our fandom thin

Today I learned that unlike when an account is deleted, if a channel is removed it also takes with it ALL saved messages from that group.
Holy shit, this is bad.

The advice I’m hearing is if you operate a telegram channel that even could be perceived as NSFW to switch the channel to be private vs public ASAP.
Woke up to two very large tg channels that have been removed overnight due to “violating terms of service” and I have zero clue how to get reconnected with those groups now.

ehhhh reallly not liking this trend of telegram channels even slightly AD or NSFW suddenly disappearing or reportedly taken down.
I know tg is already not the best place to be but the alternatives are starting to run low. Genuinely getting concerned.
