walkman.land there's a lot to love about this, but my favourite detail is the spool cogs _correctly_ animating at different rates.
Analysis | With Stephen Miller running America's domestic policy, Benjamin Netanyahu running its foreign policy, and Donald Trump heading up interior decorating and bribe-taking, the executive branch has tripled its efficiency.
Trump congratulated a guy who is being pressured to resign, including by several GOP colleagues, over allegations that he coerced a sexual relationship with a staff member who later killed herself.

"In Chicago, of 92 people arrested for assaulting or impeding officers last fall, 74 cases have resulted in no charges; in 13 cases, charges were filed and dismissed; and five charged cases were still pending *** As of the end of January, there have been no convictions."
Hahah then sorry about that!
I'm so confused haha, it clearly sounds AI dubbed, but the mouth movements are still kind of close. Are you speaking Dutch and dubbed it into German ?! π

The question of our time is how do you artistically rebel β and win β against a totally flat cultural landscape? And before my readers, who I assume are all approximately 36 years old and very tired, say, βso what, who cares?β This does matter. I mean, just look around right now lol. You know things are bad when even OpenAI President Greg Brockman is posting stuff, like βTaste is a new core skill.β If people had taste, your company wouldnβt exist, Greg. But if everything is just attention now, and attention is completely commodified by algorithmic tech platforms, how can you push back against that? Well, I am slowly coming around to a theory on the new cool: You have to essentially pre-deplatform yourself. Culture right now is determined not by human teams of editors and producers picking and choosing what youth culture gets the spotlight, but, instead, by the unthinking algorithms that power YouTube and TikTok. Which means the only things that have the level of scarcity and danger required to be seen as cool by young people will, slowly, but surely, be whatever is unacceptable on those platforms.
A post so smart I'm almost afraid to share it.

The President is lying to the public:
1) For the past century, the federal government has been responsible for the Potomac Interceptor β not Maryland. The sewage pipe is on federal land.

Aleksei Navalny was most likely poisoned by a toxin found in a South American frog, five European countries said Saturday, making the most concrete Western accusation yet that Russiaβs leading opposition figure was murdered by his government in a prison two years ago. www.nytimes.com/2026/02/14/w...

ICE says federal agents appear to have lied about confrontation that led to shooting
Agents had initially said that two men β Alfredo Aljorna and Julio Sosa Celis β assaulted them with a broom and a shovel before one of them shot Sosa Celis. But that account was quickly called into question, and prosecutors now say βnewly discovered evidenceβ contradicts the officersβ story.
The default assumption should be that theyβre lying

It looks like the DOJ monitored members of Congressβs searches of the unredacted Epstein files.
Just wow.
Court battle over surveillance footage at the Broadview ICE detention center reaches new levels of kafkaesque absurdity: The DOJ claimed it *couldn't afford* hard drives to put video footage on. Plaintiffs bought THE US GOVERNMENT hard drives. ICE "lost" them.

The Board of Governors decided, unilaterally, that no published textbook in the field of sociology could be used in compliance with the law for an Intro to Sociology class. None. Victor: There's not a single existing textbook on the market that could be used that would qualify under state law? Zachary: Correct. Victor: I'm sorry, that's kind of funny. Like, the absurdity of not a single sociology textbook getting past the censors. I mean, it makes me kind of proud of our colleagues, but...
I do want to shout-out my fellow sociologists, who have collectively created a discipline so woke that not a single one of our introductory textbooks can make it past Florida's censors.
Great work everyone.

Rachel Scott β’ @rachelvscott X.com Just spoke to Pres. Trump. I asked him if he had seen the video of Rep. Omar being attacked and sprayed by a substance. "No. I don't think about her. I think she's a fraud. I really don't think about that. She probably had herself sprayed, knowing her," the president said. I asked again if he had seen the video. "I haven't seen it. No, no. I hope I don't have to bother."
