In addition to the new bus stops, we're upcycling old ones too.
The new modular system refurbishes existing bus stops with many of the new features.
This is not only environmentally sound, but also costs 80% less than a new shelter - so we can upgrade more bus stops faster.

London didn’t become a cycling city overnight.
In this episode, @prabinjoel.bsky.social speaks with @willnorman.co.uk about 400+ km of cycleways, 1.5m daily trips, safer streets, and the politics behind real change.
If safety improves, demand follows.

Great to open the new pedestrian crossing on Ilford Lane with Cllr Jo Blackman & Redbridge Council Team
This is a busy shopping street but there's a collision every 2 weeks - 33% involved ped injuries; 42 involved a child.
We're working across London to make high streets safer 💚

Am in Ilford. What is this strange thing in the sky? 🌤️
It's very nice to top up some Vitamin D after what feels like almost constant rain since Christmas.
Feels like Spring might be springing in east London 🌷🌹😍

This market square in Enfield has been operating since 1303.
A century ago the trees were cut down to make way for the road. This week, we're putting them back.
Well done Enfield Council 💚

London pedicab rules target 'rip-off fares' and loud music
TfL is proposing a list of new requirements for drivers, including regulated fares and safety checks.
After years of us campaigning for a new law, government gave London the power to regulate pedicabs.
Today we're launching the new regulations. Our new rules will ensure pedicabs are a green, safe, fair & fun way to explore central London.

Delighted to meet the brilliant Londoners who are running community projects that are enabling more people to walk and cycle.
With the London Marathon Foundation, we've funded an extra £550,000 to 180 projects across the whole capital.

I saw some of the Holborn Liveable Neighbourhood improvements. Not just vital safety schemes at collision blackspots, but also plans for new walking routes, pedestrianisation, outdoor eating & lots of greening.
New SUDs are working too - weeks of rain & not a puddle in sight!

Was 2025 the year London became a cycling city?
With e-bikes becoming more widely available and consistent investment, cycling in the capital has surged alongside the expansion of its cycleways.
With the expansion of @london.gov.uk's network of cycleways expanding to over 430km, celebrities arriving at events on two wheels and cycling trips surging to 1,500,000 every day - London is fast becoming a cycling city.
