I guess to wrap things up with being a little blunt, I feel I'd be allot less salty if I didn't have to cough up around 40$ and 200+ hours of playtime, only to wind up here making this thread, will totally own up to that lol

Fair, but think of it in my shoes. I gave this game like, way too many chances whenever it did get flack, trusted the game with my money. And now that game harbours a community that got someone hurt? All over a measly video game??
It's honestly something I'm sick of ignoring at this rate.
I know it sounds incredibly silly to openly say you're ditching a game. But I genuinely use to love this game, I put my trust in arrowhead. Gave them my money, gave them all the leeway whenever they did get flack, and now someone got hurt over a literal video game. At least lemme vent a little...
I feel what doesn't help is that arrowhead and helldivers 2's entire history as far as I know, has been primarily built on controversy and discourse. This happening is what I feel just the loop starting over. As someone who's been playing since day one, this is frankly the last straw for me.
Now of course, power to you if you like the game. Nobody should ever dictate what you can/cannot have fun playing. But as someone who's been playing for years, seeing the game go through controversy after controversy and the community the game harbours. Its just not worth standing side with anymore.
tl;dr guy sets up charity stream to make the devs play the game on a high difficulty, intended to raise awareness of the game's balancing issues. In turn, the community reddit doxxed them, got them fired from their job and in his words "ruined their life"

Most of the footage of the famous 2000 "Super Mario 128" tech demo was recorded with handheld cameras by the audience, with the presenter drowning out the game sound. Only 10 seconds of direct feed footage exist, which reveal that the sound was a cacophony of Marios screaming.
