Yesterday's question of whether we'd make it past the final #Woolhaven heretic fight in #CultoftheLamb was an emphatic "no". The hard difficulty version of that fight is INTENSE.

I don't even have any platforms that use the spec yet, but I did figure that in the next couple of years, I would upgrade.
So much for that plan. I'm going to have to get real lucky to do that without massively overpaying now.
Guess I'll wait.
Word. In theory, I have enough redundancy among the streaming PCs I built in the last 10 years to keep everything I want to run in a functional state for YEARS.
Not going to stop me kicking myself for not snatching up a few DDR5 kits over the summer when I had the chance.

Additionally, if you have steady hands, patience, and the means, I strongly recommend acquiring a soldering iron and some basic repair tools. You'd be surprised how much stuff stops working because a simple component pops off a PCB or a solder joint cracks.
