Nein. Im Gegenteil. Übernahme von Positionen führt zu Stärkung der Extremen, schwächt Konservative. Habe ich ja auch nicht gesagt.
Den 2. Teil der Aussage, die Sie mir zuschreiben, haben Sie erfunden, habe ich nicht gesagt. Ich meine: eine demokratische konservative Partei ist am ehesten die Alternative für AfD-Wähler. Insofern die Brandmauer. Deshalb will die AfD die CDU destabilisieren und Merz ist in die Falle getappt.

Researchers have pointed to the feeling of loss of control in the face of globalization - problems that nation states have a hard time addressing - as one of the sources of populism. Trump has campaigned on fighting the effects of globalization. But he first delivers to those who benefit from it.
Trump is now ripping it up. It’s a huge wedding gift to his CEO’s - and a betrayal of his lower and middle class voters (who do pay their taxes and can’t move assets around globally).
To make them pay a fare share, well over a hundred countries agreed in 2021 on a global minimum tax. A pretty remarkable fest step toward some sort of a fair global tax governance. It’s not yet working properly, as far as I can tell, but could make taxing better, and fairer.
While they enjoy a well educated work-force, infrastructure, rule of law in many Western countries, all paid for by „the state“ = you and I, they try to avoid to contribute to the cost.
The problem the framework tried to tackle is pretty well known: Companies acting globally (like those of Trump’s CEO pals) have plenty of opportunities to avoid taxes.
On day one, Trump has declared the 2021 a framework on a global minimum tax rate null and void and appears to be threatening retaliations against countries who try to enforce it.
