Let's start with adding them to the Brady List. Giglio-bradylist.com
@jdrolshagen
I'm focused on the intersection of technology, law, and government. My work spans books, policy papers, and legal analyses that explore systemic accountability, digital governance, and civic reform in the face of global technological change.
Let's start with adding them to the Brady List. Giglio-bradylist.com
Check it out here... Giglio-bradylist.com
Most LEOrgs and Prosecutor offices are not in compliance with their disclosure obligations, jointly and severally.
Milwaukee is no exception.
Today, I spoke w/Frayla Tarpinian, the Executive Director of the Maine Commission on Public Defense Services, about how an impending budget shortfall could lead to disaster for Public Defense in the state.

Careful on this one...the FOP is working overtime to codify the Giglio [Do Not Call] List and down play Brady disclosure obligations. This is a nationwide effort.
Today, I spoke w @rebeccawallace.bsky.social of @cofreedomfund.bsky.social & Kyle Giddings of @ccjrc.bsky.social to explain how Colorado's conservative, tough on crime coalition influences CO's criminal justice policy despite the dems controlling all 3 branches.

Only attorneys need to pay. 100% of content is indexed for search and accessible by bots for analysis for FREE.
Absolutely "presenting an oversimplified...". Lower courts' opinion doesn't matter. We identify prosecutors that are not in compliance under RPC 3.8.
Data is used for actuarial tables. ๐ค
Giglio-bradylist.com is the only nationwide platform of record.
We have:
over 1M profiles,
over 1M records,
over 17K LEOrgs++,
Search: Anne Dookhan, Kent Vander Kamp, the Karen Read trial in MA.
We (the People) are actively removing sheriffs/chiefs, DAs, and judges from office.
Respectfully.

Today, I spoke w/Maggie Bott and Bob Kolstad, Hennepin County Public Defenders, and Brandon Garcia, a policy aide to Minneapolis City Council President Elliot Paige to discuss how the people of Minneapolis organized to resist DHS's occupation of the city.

The best part of the nationwide Brady List is we get to monitor compliance of LE, prosecutors, and judges.
When failures are identified as pattern and practice, convictions get overturned en masse.
The context of the article is wrong for being incomplete.
I get it.
WA's 1088 was effort to codify Giglio and minimize Brady's scope and the FOP has been doing this nationwide.
Check the dissent in US v Bagley (1985) joined by T Marshall. The all encompassing standard was considered vague by LE and lower Courts due to lack of specificity. We solved that!
The Brady List aggregates more sources than a Giglio/Do Not Call list; including, POST Decertification, moral turpitude list, use of force, public records, complaints, etc. This List also tracks prosecutor compliance and Judge application of remedies. brady.drolshagen.me/articles/gig...
1. Yes.
2. Yes.
The platform is an aggregateor of feeds from a huge number of sources. We do not do any investigation or research ourselves. Past that, citizen reporters are welcome to add records from the public domain; and, finally individuals may file complaints. We are essentially librarians.
On it!
But, we rarely get info that includes the identity of the officer/agent properly.
Spread the word!

Simply file a complaint... Giglio-bradylist.com
The complaints is Brady material. Done.
Quick question for the AG: if leaders serving the vulnerable lose hundreds of millions but keep million-dollar salaries, thatโs fine? And if State Police and DEA land on the Brady list - meaning courts flag their credibility- we just shrug? Asking for Massachusetts.

Last year, the Oregon Public Defender Commision created a new contract that created a minimum caseload requirement for Public Defenders.
Two chief Public Defender thought this was an illegal contract, and they sued the Commision.
Yesterday, those chiefs won their case!

A Milwaukee police officer resigned after TMJ4 asked questions about why he remained off the Brady List for 2 years following drunk driving arrest.

If you are ever arrested, even if it is a false identification...you should plan on spending 1 year, or more, in jail w/o trial. That is how long it takes to wear out the prosecution.
Speedy trial is gone.
Due process is dead.
This is authoritarianism.

Today, I spoke w/ @galvinalmanza.bsky.social about her new book, The Price of Mercy. In it, Emily expertly weaves social science and powerful anecdotes from her years as a Public Defender to challenge readers to rethink what public safety can/should look like

Little known fact: if you find material that a prosecutor does not disclose, you can file an ethics violation with the State (regulatory) Bar for a violation of RPC 3.8 = Brady violation of Special Responsibilities of a Prosecutor.
Thank you. That is we/us.
Good stuff. I did a similar... brady.drolshagen.me/articles/gig...
I know this is a small consolation, but the reports help us identify patterns of misconduct and crime.
