Yes and this exclusion is deliberate - to admit the structural issues facing the Liberals is to admit they should never have been in power in the first place. Can’t see any mainstream voices willing to go out on that limb.

“Trump can be flawless, Harris must be flawless” - again and again and again and again - all explained here👇🏻

There is discussion about whether Liberals will be decimated in SA election. This seems bizarre, but also not that surprising. I wrote this about the federal Liberals’ electoral woes after the federal election last year. This explains the SA Libs’ problem👇🏻

Cory Bernardi - a nasty, bigoted, divisive politician - might be a One Nation adherent now but let’s not forget that he is the product of the Liberal Party. As he became more and more extreme and discriminatory towards minorities, he remained a LIBERAL Senator. Speaks volumes of Liberal “values”.
Liberal leader Hurn was asked about what she thought of Bernardi’s comments that linked gay marriage to bestiality and his support of Hanson saying there are no good Muslims. Her weasel word response was “I haven’t seen them”. Well you’ve seen them now, so what do you think?
SA Libs have announced they’re preferencing One Nation ahead of Labor at the state election. Any dignity the Liberal Party had left is gone. One Nation isn’t preferencing Liberals but Liberals are preferencing One Nation. SHAME!

Australian here. We have mandatory voting. This means everyone gets used to voting for the better option (which was obviously Harris), rather than believing that you can only vote for someone if you like 100% of what they’re offering. It’s not marriage. It’s a PREFERENCE. Americans should try it.
Yes possibly!
But why would Libs preference One Nation when One Nation won’t do same? One Nation is competing with Libs to be second placed behind Labor in some seats. It’s really hard to know what is going to happen in this three-way contest.
Fascinating scenario in SA election. One Nation is refusing to preference Liberals - have an open ticket. So this raises the question of where Liberals will direct preferences. They won’t preference Labor or Greens or Independents (who may beat them in some seats). Will they preference One Nation?
At SA election candidate forum a Liberal candidate apparently urged voters to support the Liberals because if they don’t, SA will become a one party state and Labor a dictatorship. That’s the Lib’s pitch: vote for us because otherwise we’ll be extinct. I wouldn’t have thought it was a strong message
What did we learn from the Liberal election review? We learned Dutton was unpopular amongst key groups he needed to win. Yet, when Sussan Ley set about trying to (sort of) differentiate Libs from Dutton, a year later they’ve gone back to Dutton take-2 with Taylor. No wonder they tried to bury it! 😳
Which Karl will become Australia’s Joe Rogan? Karl Stefanovic or Karl Sandilands? Stefanovic has already started, but no doubt Sandilands will be going “independent” too - let off the leash outside ACMA rules to spread lies, hate and bigotry for profit the quickest. It will be ugly to watch!
You’re implying govt plans to go to war with the US which they have absolutely said they won’t do. So what do you mean by “support”? Australia has to maintain alliance with the US whether Trump is president or not. And they can’t take Iran’s side. It’s so much more complicated than you appreciate.
I’m sick of the knee jerk “THIS IS ALL LABOR’S FAULT” I see on here every time something happens that people don’t like. Do you really believe govt wanted Trump to attack Iran? Do you think it’s easy managing the US alliance when Trump is president? Why always assume the govt is acting in bad faith?
It’s not as simple as “Labor supports the war”. It’s the government the way - not Labor. And what they say and do in relation to the US is carefully calibrated by diplomacy, strategic alliance, and Australia’s best interest. They’re not “supporting” by joining in. But they can’t take Iran’s side!
We need to talk about Trump's prolific, egregious lying as a form of democratic cheating. And we need to question why the media has - for over a decade - let him get away with it. My analysis👇
The problem was Price admitted they were MAGA - said the quiet bit out loud. The problem was not that they are MAGA. Indeed, Angus Taylor’s ascension is giving in to the Liberal MAGA faction.
This is the real reason Taylor shelved the review. He plans to go full MAGA so he can’t exactly have a document out there finding that full MAGA is the reason the Libs lost the election.
Leaked Liberal election review notes it was a mistake for Price to say “make Australia great again” because it made the Libs look like Trump’s MAGA. I note the review doesn’t say “Liberals should stop being so much like MAGA”, because this would be admitting problem is not messaging. It’s character.
Labor has not joined war with the US, or Israel. I can’t fathom how every single thing that happens which Labor doesn’t have the power to stop becomes Labor’s fault. It’s like people are looking to blame Labor constantly for everything and can’t recognise the reality Labor has to navigate here.
Since the Liberal election review has been leaked to the Age, people will know Dutton was offended it called him “unattractive to women”. I wanted to let Dutton know it’s not his face or baldness that’s the issue. It’s his cold, dead heart, cruel character and mean spirit that make him unattractive.
Regime change in Iran would be a good thing. Don’t you think so? As this Iranian so eloquently says, they can’t go on as they are. That doesn’t mean I think Trump can actually manage to enact regime change. But it doesn’t mean I don’t support regime change if it could happen!
I'm quite shocked by how many people on here - including many who are rightly vocal and outraged about Palestinian genocide - are claiming that it's a lie that Iran killed 30,000+ protestors in January this year. What propaganda are they consuming? Frightening.

Important piece by Dr Hessom Razavi: "frequently left-leaning Western armchair commentators with minimal skin in the game...display scant awareness or a cool indifference towards those who are most at risk: the Iranian people themselves, in their tens of millions".

Which is worse?
Israel killing 70,000 Palestinians?
Iran killing 30,000 Iranians?
This is not a trick question. They’re both unfathomable atrocities which should be condemned.
Oh you’re on Iran’s side are you? The regime that killed 40,000 people protesting for a democracy? Wow, quite the statement there.
So you’d prefer Australian leaders put the country in a dangerous position pissing off the key country that we would need to come to our aid if someone attacked us just to make you feel good about yourself? Glad you’re not in charge.
