I don't think the blame lies on y'all, to be clear. Pop sci outlets rely on sensationalist clickbait for revenue, and as such consistently mislead the public. I advise taking whatever you hear about medical advances from outlets like @futurism.com with a rather large grain of salt.

I'm also not aware of any cures for leukemia or "100% efficacy vaccines" against cancer. Cancer vaccines are not prophylactic and are definitely not 100% effective.
The article in the original post is about a drug showing results in a specific mouse model of Alzheimer's, NOT a cure.
I'm sorry to burst people's bubbles here, but every single one of these claims is significantly overblown.
Lenacapavir is not a vaccine for HIV, it is an injectable PrEP that lasts for half a year. Only a handful of people have been cured of HIV, and the treatments are not scalable.

As people pointed out, this was a huge tactical error. She could have stuck to her guns and rallied the support of liberal allies. They can't expel her without at 2/3rds vote.
Criticizing an open Zionist for not having the backbone to stand up for the rights of people like her as an elected official in Congress is not "putting a trans woman on blast".
We don't need to cover for someone who would readily betray her own community to line her pockets with AIPAC money.
