We have elections at least rvery 5 years to keep the government accountable, and to allow a change if the public wants it.

The author notes that no MPs representing pro-Brexit party Reform UK were at a 24 February 2026 debate marking the 10th anniversary of the referendum that led to Britain leaving the European Union.

#Brexit is a disaster for Britain – with many doubting wisdom of quitting #EuropeanUnion. No surprise few want to vocally support it.

Perhaps more surprising, says this Huddersfield Daily Examiner letter, #ReformUK are MIA or AWOL when the opportunity to defend Brexit presents itself.
