Anytime I open Threads I am immediately inundated with words of horror, dread, and doom. Anger. Hopelessness. When I open bsky, it’s the same *topics*, but I am not fed the worst, scariest, and “hottest” takes. It’s much more INFORMATION-forward. (3/5)

Sure, Threads isn’t the swastika hellsite, but the algorithm still very much utilizes fear and rage to drive up engagement. I follow many of the same kinds of accounts on both apps, and actually, probably MORE overtly political accounts on bsky, and yet… (2/5)

I really implore more people to start using bsky. These days I look in on both it and Threads, and it really highlights the difference between a Meta app and a non-meta app. (1/5)
