I'm talking 1 computer 5 monitor, or maybe a fancy kvm setup across 2 machines. you can only count the machine if it's in your house
I'm talking 1 computer 5 monitor, or maybe a fancy kvm setup across 2 machines. you can only count the machine if it's in your house
it would be so swagged out but the computer that can do this is so expensive and i am quite unemployed
desktop linux user issue
so you're saying this has added desk heater functionality
my 3rd is an ipad air (so like 11") and so it's easy to fit under the central monitor, if it was full size it'd be harder to fit
you go home with a girl and she's got a maxed out macbook pro rocking the 5 monitor set up in a tiny apartment π₯΅
the fifth monitor being the laptop built-in, on the stand again. just arranging 4 external 27" monitors is quite the puzzle to solve to me
hub makers like Caldigit boasting that you can do 4 external monitors on an m5 max chip with their hubs...
the 3 monitors (2 big 1 smaller) + laptop on a stand setup is a well known & loved computer toucher setup but imagine 5 monitor. you connect 1 cable & you're jacked into the matrix
I didn't know caldigit had such a good reputation but 3 diff people commented here about them and now I want one
abysmal
1 center horizontal, 1 right side vertical,
ipad air (slightly under 11") used as a monitor underneath the main center one, laptop positioned on a stand to the left is my ideal. 2 big monitors, 1 medium, 1 small, and everything works via the single docking cable for convenient disconnect
funny enough the amazon basics one comes close on both cost and features, but you only get 2 downstream. also it's amazon basics so manufacturing quality is a crapshoot
also how are leading companies like Anker still selling docks where they are like "macs simply can't have multiple monitors with different content thru our dock, only windows". isn't a huge part of the market for people who want laptop docking stations macbook pro users
a good thunderbolt 5 dock is still way too expensive
you should be able to get 140w usb-pd on the laptop connection port, 3 tb5 downstream ports & 1 usb-a port, maybe even ethernet, for ~$120, $100 on sale
right now lowest i can find that gives you 3 downstream is $150 on sale & has 0 other ports
too low make it a fat round $20
posts like these really reassure me about having been on the edge of the circle called tpot, by showing me that others have coordinates much closer to the center
que?
it honestly seems like some of the most fun shit you could possibly do ever
damn i need to cut some shirts yr so right
happy birthday
like I have no idea what I'm wearing tonight but I can guarantee you've seen whatever it is before probably multiple times. I bought two new pieces of club wear last month (1 mesh top one pair of pants) and that was a notable wardrobe expansion to me
everyone who's asked my sign recently and heard β has said hbd it's been oddly nice
what else can you do when you're out as often as we are honestly. I don't have the time to be giving club fits that much thought
yeah admittedly when you are on 10-12 dance floors every month you either have to repeat the same fits a lot or spend tons of time & energy on those clothes
I don't think I can fit an XDJ in there
ok is it at least boofable
no I wear the same shit to the club all the time
it's a classic pairing π¬

i need to rob markiplier
i was very confused like "why is the entire app way faster when i've got at least one thread really pegging a cpu core" until i realized i was just getting moved to & from the efficiency cores right when i hit play or pause
