I don’t think Trump and his people are capable of engineering “distractions,” I think the mind-numbing chaos we see every day is straightforwardly the result of giving the dumbest, cruelest, most corrupt, most selfish people of a generation near-unmitigated power
Almost immediately I saw the backlash in the right over the election, and I can trace a direct line from then to now. That Hope we were promise died out, both neglected by the left and murdered by the right. I felt my own optimism fade in the last 18 years while our country crumbled from within.
This was the first election I was old enough to vote in and the contrast to our last election cannot be understated. My adult life started with a campaign of hope and change, with history being made for the better, rather than the worse. There was division, yes, but not like now.

Not sure, but I need a similar solution. My smaller cats shoves her big brother aside and steals his food constantly. Kora is a bit chubbier, but their size difference is so pronounced we couldn’t gate them off like that.
I work as a data analyst and would never trust AI to touch my work. I’ve seen first hand how quickly an LLM can and will hallucinate on basic outputs and know how that could cascade throughout my work. Utterly insane that anyone relies on it.
