For our second bat (two bats the whole 15 years we lived there) I got someTupperware with a top and some gloves and replicated the 14 years old’s moves. Then I heaved the bat and Tupperware out into the front yard and the next day binned the Tupperware. In that case the bat hissed at me so ugh!

We had bats in our house and getting rid of them involved me calling a pest control service and someone coming over who looked about 14. He put on thick rubber gloves and took an empty ice cream pail, walked up to the bat and trapped him in the pail. Took him outside. Fini.

So i understand (though disagree w) local PD refusing to intervene w ICE. But now that we have bounty hunters doing ice work, what is their legal standing when they brandish guns or run red lights, etc? Have officials commented on this change?

I’ve been helping out at my neighborhood school doing bus duty. Today there was only myself and one other volunteer. Lately we’ve had people harassing our volunteers and reports from other school patrols. There is safety in numbers! Please consider volunteering at your local school!
