Hike 20 in my #52hikechallenge was the very swampy Lightning Swamp Bushland in Perth, Australia. There is 4.7 km of singletrack (some sandy) to follow to the sound of frog and bird choruses πΆ I was too late for the king spider orchids that Iβve seen here in other years.

Hike 19 of my 52 Hike Challenge : 13.4 km Yanchep Rose Walk Trail! A drizzly morning- perfect for a hike with no shade. Lots of wildflowers (pink fairy, cowslip, donkey, carousel and purple enamel orchids). Lots of wildlife: kangaroos, kookaburra, black cockatoos, bright blue splendid fairy wren.
