Is it me, or #Angular has increased the pace of its minor releases? πΆβπ«οΈ
Anyway, we have a new minor, and it brings some new exciting things. Join us tomorrow at 4:30 PM UTC as we try out all the new features and changes and see where this is all going!
Yup, already made my mind up today π
Thankfully, we had Andrew Scott, the author of this very PR and core member of the Angular team, live last week for a fantastic discussion about the Angular router, and of course, he also gracefully explained what's going on in the compiler.
Check it out here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=82Gd...
Will #Angular support the TypeScript Go compiler? Will it have a Rust compiler? π± π¦
This might be one of the most important PRs in the Angular repo in the past few weeks.

The graphic features a dark, futuristic aesthetic with neon blue and orange accents. Top Center: The word "opencode" is displayed in a stylized, lowercase sans-serif font with a bright blue glow. Top Left: A logo consisting of two overlapping, rounded squares in shades of blue and teal. Top Right: The MiniMax logo, featuring a red-to-pink gradient waveform icon above the name in white capital letters. Center Bottom: A translucent window displaying mock source code (resembling JavaScript or Java) with syntax highlighting. Background: Glowing circuit-like lines and digital data streams connect the three main elements, suggesting data flow or an API integration.
To be honest, I did not expect Warp terminal + OpenCode + MiniMax models to be such an insanely powerful combo
If you are okay with a slight detour from our usual #Angular topics and are curious about building your own AI agents, definitely watch this one!

Yesterday's stream was a success!
Did a gentle introduction to Google's Agent Development Kit. We discussed what agents are, what ADK does, and built our first (albeit simple) agents.
Tonight at 4:30 PM UTC

So today, I will try to mend this gap a little bit, especially for Angular devs. In today's livestream, I will cover Google's Agent Development Kit, a new framework for building AI agents
We will explore what agents are, what they can do, and how to quickly get started wth your very first one

The main text reads, "Let's talk about ADK," with the subtitle, "Building your own Agents with Google's framework." The Angular logo and "Angular Space TV" branding are in the upper corners, with social media icons for X, YouTube, Twitch, and LinkedIn on the left sidebar.
It seems like everyone is building an AI agent nowadays... including me.
But the gap between people adopting building the new technology and those who only use it (let's be honest, we're all using AI for coding) is still huge.
So, this week, let us meet and take a small detour from #Angular and talk about building agents with ADK, Google's framework for agentic workflows.
I promise, if you're an Angular dev but never touched anything LLM-related, this will be super easy and accessible to you

After my recent ADK + Angular workshop, I received a lot of comments asking to see it. I don't have the full workshop. I think I will do it one day online, but because I also do not have a topic for this week's livestream, I thought, "Why not just talk about ADK?"
A person stands on a low stage at the left, holding a microphone and gesturing toward a large blue screen while addressing a small group. Several attendees are seated in leather armchairs in the foreground with laptops open, while others sit on light-colored wooden tiered bleacher seating to the right. The room features a minimalist design with wooden wall panels, exposed industrial ceilings, and a green accent wall decorated with colorful abstract art and shelving.
Had a fantastic workshop on Saturday covering #Angular and Google #ADK
We built an interesting project that incorporated an AI agent built with the Agent Development Kit into a frontend application powered with Angular
Loved it, hopefully will do more in the future π

Had an incredible stream yesterday with Andrew Scott from the #Angular core team!
A lot of amazing questions we discussed:
Thanks! I really felt that the router is kind of an underappreciated topic. It's great, and there are a lot of things there people need to know, but don't
Will be live in an hour - don't miss!
There have been some interesting developments regarding the #Angular compilation/type checking system, and by an amazing coincidence we have the live author today π

The design features logos for Grid Dynamics, aigy business center, and "Build with AI" across the top. Two speakers are featured in diagonal profile cutouts: a man with a beard speaking into a headset microphone and a woman with long dark hair smiling. The background consists of vibrant, abstract overlapping circles and curves in Googleβs signature colors (blue, red, yellow, and green).
Let's meet!
We're hosting a 6-hour hands-on workshop on #BuildWithAI on Feb 21 in Yerevan, and we will be covering building Angular apps integrated with Google Agent Development Kit Agents
After we're done, we'll spend some time discussing how AI is actually changing the way we lead and communicate
So tomorrow at 5 PM UTC, we will talk live about the Angular Router, and many, many nuances that are hiding under its hood! This one is a must-see π

Another week, another amazing guest!
Meet Andrew Scott from the #Angular core team.
I kept being incorrect about Angular Router on the internet, and Andrew kept teaching me new things, so one day I just asked, "Why don't we do this live so others can also learn?"
Oh I see. Will try to remember next time π
I keep forgetting to do it but also suspect I would need to have access to the Twitch account, which isn't mine
I made it a habit to publish new articles and forget to share them π
A couple of weeks ago, I published a new article on #Angular + #Gemini
I cover generative UIs and also how you can use image generation with Nano Banano Pro in your Angular application
www.angularspace.com/gemini-and-a...
Don't forget to tune in today!
We will be exploring the new minor version of #Angular: v 21.1, which has quite a lot of fascinating new features
