i booked this in december, started work on the 20th october and this is the pro rated 28 days statutory leave.
they’re arguing that earlier dates were available though it wasn't clear to me i’m risking holiday allowance by booking at the end of the year.
what do you think, is this legal?
at work i'm losing my statutory leave because they’ve scheduled me as non-working on the 31st march that i'd booked as holiday. this has been returned as holiday allowance but obviously cannot be used this financial year.
