Congratulations to Gorton and Denton constituency on a electric byelection! My first ever role in radio was there, broadcasting to one of the most diverse areas in the UK.
Good to see the community come together on screens across the country.

A Contigo West Loop Autoseal Travel Mug. Perfect for hot drinks! My wife found it an absolute godsend, didn't leave her side - you don't need to unscrew the lid or faff about with it, just press the button to drink. Easy to clean and can be thrown into a bag with you.

a small square linoplate with a mugwort leaf on it part carved
I haven't carved a mugwort leaf since the Moon card of my tarot deck & I'd forgotten how satisfying they are. Kind of want to do a huge 30cm square version of this, super detailed #printmaking #art #witchsky

Silk and Foxglove anthology, a BIPOC erotic eco-horror anthology, with a collaged artwork of a red circle, a dragonfly, and a sensual rear end!
Due to the sudden closure of the small press publishing our anthology, we're looking for a new home!
"Silk and Foxglove" is a BIPOC anthology of 13 stories of erotic-eco-horror! It's weird, gorgeous, evocative, & unnerving as hell!
Please boost! If any small presses are interested, let me know!
Reposted. The cover is fabulously unsettling! Wishing Silk and Foxglove a new home soon.
Ulysses 31! If you missed it, think Barry Gibb from the Bee Gees, with a laser sword. On a disco odyssey.
Thank you for the warm welcome! It already feels like a cosier place to drink my tea and scroll through. Also, Humans: A Monstrous History looks fantastic! Added to my to-read list.
4 panel silly comic in black lines only. A blob guy has a big pencil. It says βI drawβ. In the second panel he seems happy with his drawing and it says βall done yeahβ. Panel 3 shows him holding up the drawing of a triangle with legs and a happy face. He goes βcome onβ. In the final panel heβs very pleased with himself, closes his eyes and tells himself βIβm a bit incredibleβ

If you do, could you tell Past Me to walk on the visible ice instead of the perfectly fine stretch of pavement. Sorry to hear you've had a bump!
So you get out your Fascism for Dummies book for the 15 things you do, and we tried to include as many of them as we could in the most artful way possible. How were we supposed to know that this clown car in Washington was going to basically use the same book that we used? So I don't think it's prescience so much as the sad familiarity of fascism and the karaoke menu of things that you go through to do it. You could list them from the show, or you could list them from the newspaper.

Please support the petition against the planned #closure of #Archaeology at the Humboldt-UniversitΓ€t zu Berlin.
Archaeology has been a part of Humboldt-UniversitΓ€t academic tradition for almost 200 years, so closing it would break a long-standing research tradition
