This is the way. I do support for a company that has people in every time zone in the US. My hours are 8-4 (I willingly forgo my lunch break). Unless it's a pre-planned project I do not work outside of those hours on Monday - Friday and I don't work at all on weekends.

There are few things I dislike more than doing taxes. I have nothing against paying taxes, they're required to have a functional, civilized society, but god damn if the filing process in the US isn't the most ass-backwards, archaic possible way to do this shit.
