Reminds me of John Baldessari's work:
I Will Not Make Any More Boring Art.
Love this :)
Where do I subscribe to your monthly DS video presentations?
My questions:
1. What elements and frequency range do you choose for a presentation?
2. Do you have some goals on how you want the audience to feel?
3. How does licensing of your original music between companies work?
Thanks. Still in early version though. Long way to go, haha. What do you like about it?
Been working on Extended settings AKA Audio Node Graph, powered by Zyphr's X1 Reactive Audio Engine. Still exploring how collaboration could work.
After a year of being a full-time dad, I'm looking for what's next. With a career in fintech, SMB and dev tools. I've built products, shipped code and managed teams as both a designer and director. I'm looking for small teams with conviction to be profitable. Building low and slow.

Echoing @vilinskyy.bsky.social; โI believe my network is more important than any other asset I own. My network has thousands of resourceful people who helped me tremendously in almost every personal or professional venture.โ
Iโm building Orbits, for the value in our human connections ๐ซ
back to a lil bit of progress on my design tool tonight... parenting/unparenting works pretty fluidly now!
Maybe*
May the classic Zed theme is the common factor, haha.
Love this. I want.
Tempted to build a small onyx MIDI keyboard. Maybe I use normal wireless QWERTY keyboard technology. I want the circuit board to be visible. The G component is the gear that triggers both (x) modulation and (y) pitch.
Been working on Sampler for the past few days. Performance could be better, especially for audio selection. Sampler is aligned to BPM, e.g., selecting an audio and slicing it with the 3rd knob of Sampler group in the control panel will randomly play your audio according to the timing of the BPM.
Interface Specification thingy for Zyphr.
Maybe rotation?
Recently, I've been thinking about this. I can't do this on Spotify or any music streaming platforms I used or tried.
Both web and native. Currently experimenting between the two.
Multi track devices.
Everything in Zyphr is states and local. The foundation of the Sound Engine is designed to react and render sound in real-time while optimising performant at the same time.
The fourth design principle, haha: blocks.shawnlukas.com/assets/shawn....
The talks from Day One have been published. To kick off the conference, @rsms.me is talking about Playbit Sync. youtu.be/KMcmMm8v5_E?...
Haha, me too. Well not really, hehe.
My grandma regularly took me to one hairdresser until I was 8 years old until I managed to save up some money to buy a hair cutting machine and learned how to cut and style my hair.
I haven't been to a hairdresser since then.
Hehehe, maybe never stop? Unless if you want to stop.
I appreciate your work, experience, knowledge, and writing. It's part of the reasons I like personal websites.
Always big fan of your work, by the way.
Thanks, still some more UI to do before I can work on the sound engine.
Multi track patches. Also added some snap animation for connecting cables.
Trying to patch sound on Zyphr.
Experimenting on Zyphr's Node Graph Editor.
I like finding these kinda nuggets in your work.
My fav part of The 10th Edition has been Search. Nice keyboard interactions; clicking on a search result entry gives me short nice click feedback.
ADSR envelope for Zyphr.
Very nice and somewhat in control with less dependencies.
Did you evaluate all of them?, e.g., what modules do they depend on; are they well maintained; how's the quality of the code, etc.
