Not all specialties are the same. That said, hospital mgmt described people doing a temp relocation to start work while home shopping and eventually giving up. School debt doesn't help, but home prices are pretty darn high here these days.

Heard a very interesting bit on housing from local hospital mgmt today:
No surprise that the lower-paid staffers are having trouble affording a place to live. But even the higher-paid docs are complaining they can't find affordable (nicer) homes. To the point it impacts recruiting.

Denver residents could see train frequency double on the B and G lines from June 7 after RTD found it has been overpaying the private operator for service it wasn't providing

Seems like the GOL part was public.
Timeless (and timely). My 9, 11, and 15 year olds all *deeply* enjoyed watching it with me recently. Works on so many levels.
One of those is a Prodigy account. π€
Was this about the plane and the blankey.
Please let it be about the plane and the blankey.
Some extra from both the Europe and Asia side of things, but shifting ops is not easy. Doing it on short notice (<90 days) is darn near impossible at scale.

All-737 operator GOL is adding five A330-900s to its fleet. Deliveries are expected to begin this year.
Different partnerships have different pay rate agreements. Remembers when AA/DL had a spat a few years back about whether they'd get a discounted fare for IROPs rebookings?
Still, I think capacity is the bigger issue. There just aren't tens of thousands of empty seats available to rebook on.
Sure, at a cost.
Also, it isn't like there's a ton of spare capacity flying empty. Airlines run 80%+ LFs these days on average; busy markets are going to be higher. Cancel a day of flights and it takes a week to catch up unless pax cxl. It is not easy to fix.
Using the location, JetPhotos and the video above, I've been able to determine the F27 (Fokker 50) airframes are Karun Air's EP-PET #7340B4, Naft Air's EP-GAS #713C33 and EP-NFK #7338CB (all derelict).
Registrations are visible on the wings and mid-sections in the video.

MH confirms additional flights to Paris and London. Interesting that they're making Heathrow work.
He's registered as a Democrat, FWIW. Not 100% aligned with the party platform, but it is interesting.
Rep Wheeler spoke eloquently about a need for bipartisanahip and being able to cooperate with people who vote different than you.
I've never seen a fourth grader vote that their classmate is a lesser class of person or that they shouldn't be judged by the same rules.

There's no reason for Iran to attack NATO nation Turkeyβbut a drone did. Iran denies sending it.
There's no reason for Iran to attack a UK base in Cyprusβbut a drone did. Iran denies sending it.
Now Azerbaijan has been attacked. Iran denies involvement.
I think this is Israel.
It's wild to me that search engine AIs keep pulling up 150 gateways as a representative figure for Starlink.
At Quilty, we estimate Starlink ended 2025 with approx. 350 gateways, with major concentrations in the US, Australia, Brazil, Mexico and the Philippines.
Another airline, this time Brazil's Azul, drops plans for the A321XLR in favor of more E2s plus widebodies for long-haul routes.
βI still think itβs a phenomenal aircraft, but whatβs going to be the cost of the aircraft?β CEO John Rodgerson said.
Can we get someone to reboot HPN airport?
Maybe they're used to bathrooms like this so that's why they think genitals are swinging freely in them?!? π€·

Trans color hand fan waving in the NH House.
Rep Alice Wade speaking from the well in the NH House, calling out the egregious hate that the NH GOP continues to spew.
We're speed* running a series of terrible, anti-trans hate bills this afternoon. Immense love to our delegation and the powerful message they continue to share: We are all people and we all deserve dignity.

*Very slowly, TBH
Historian here history first time as tragedy the second time as farce.
There it is: Noem out, Mullin in
And the plane(s) that were shared between the two depending on seasonal demand.
OK, as the actual journalist who has been unwittingly caught up in the Claude rumor this morning (who also covers AI disinformation) let me clear this one up for the record.
To recap: Claude kind of implicated itself in the Iran school bombing citing (in part) my reporting...
MH also announced a couple extra flights then sent out a follow up a couple hours later making that news under embargo. Which is not how embargoes work. But I'm not publishing the details since it is unclear they'll happen.
