I'm delighted to have found this 1st edition of Ghost Story by Peter Straub today. I used to look at this cover every time I went to the library as a kid. It's so creepy.

I've always wanted to write about vampires but couldn't start until I had my own lore set. Now I'm good to go. I'm probably going to do a trilogy when I finish the Basic Instincts series.

I started a vampire story for a bit of fun between books. It's 8k words already and only a 3rd into my outline. Looks like it's going to be a novella🧛‍♂️ No snails though.

I've foundd things after professional proof readers have had a go. And have read a few major publications in the last year riddled with typos. It happens with all books. You can only do your best. Don't worry

I started writing Basic Instincts Book 4 last June and there were many times I thought I would never reach the end. But it's done. Three drafts and a final proof read. All backed up in a million ways. I just need to tinker with the blurb & it can go off to the publisher later this week.

I keep getting targeted ads for that brand. Are they any good?
