Borderlands 3 was also SO beautiful dude. Some of the DLC areas looked like paintings.

BL4 is blurry, muddy, low resolution, barely art style compliant, and runs like shit.

I’ve never seen a game so thoroughly flip every aspect like a switch like this. Genuinely only the good parts of 1-3 were the things they fucked up this time. This should’ve started a smaller scale spinoff. I hope they ditch Unreal next time, too.

Loot variety? Fucked. Uniques? Absent. Charm and personality? Muffled. Characters? Forgettable. World? Uninspired. Vehicles? One-note. UI? Generic. Lore? Bare minimum. Enemy variety? Gone. Character interactions? Dead since 2014. Endgame? None. Not even tvhm.

If Borderlands 5 doesn't learn the right lessons from 4 I think I might abandon ship on the series. I don't understand how they fixed all the issues from 3 but fucked up everything 3 did right.

Well I lost a day of my life but I'm back to normal-ish today - aiming to go live EARLY today, starting around 2pm EST.

Additionally, I may try to do a makeup stream for Okami tomorrow. We'll see.
