OTD 45 years ago, Terry Fox dipped his leg into the Atlantic and began his Marathon of Hope in St. John’s.
He ran the equivalent of a full marathon every day, but was forced to end his run outside Thunder Bay when the cancer spread to his lungs. He died 9 months later.

Olivia’s school had a PD day yesterday, so I took the day off work and we went on a little road trip to one of our favourite places - Salmon Cove Sands. The place was empty, we had the beach to ourselves, and the waves were spectacular.
