I can't be entirely sure, but it's definitely the FAIR crowd. I'm inclined to say Daniel Peterson. I know he's invoked it before but I can't remember if he was the first.
Most often, I'll see the apologist invoke it before picking whichever of criticism they think is the easiest to respond to and then suggesting that all the others are even less serious and not worth their time. Again, I think this is just lazy at best and frequently dishonest.
I'm only ranting about this because I frequently see apologists do this with any multipoint critical argument, as a way of dismissing the argument and excusing oneself from addressing each of the criticisms presented. I think it's dishonest and lazy.
