It feels obvious to say, but women kick ass. In honor of the 35th anniversary of Street Fighter II - which featured one of Yoko Shimomuraβs earliest soundtracks - and in honor of Womenβs History Month, GameGrooves presents Lightning Kick!

This is really similar to my experience

idk if this is some subconscious perfect pitch or something but B just sounds evil. The one single note B.
Sena did this work on Cryptmaster and that game is renown for it's incredible voicework. I can 100% recommend Sena from years of working with her on multiple projects.
Eh fuck it, I'll shoot my shot.
If you need someone to helm voiceover for your project, I pretty much do it all: casting actors, directing recording sessions, helping navigate agencies/unions/etc, you name it.
100% "damn this voice acting's awesome" rate π
should I eat the single gummy inside a ziplock bag marked "Uplifting" that I found in a mesh vest at the thrift store?
good lord this looks sick
The teacher actually BRINGS IN MOTHER FUCKING TOTO DAVID PAICH. to like. talk to us. about song writing. And the teacher reads, out loud, to David Paich and the whole class, my millenial-internet-lingo-ass quote about the solo. Like "One student called it "...". They were old friends or something.
I took a songwriting class in community college, the teacher had us break down one out of a list of songs, I chose Rosanna. In one part of my otherwise pretty dry, academic break down I said something like "Absolutely insane keyboard solo that just keeps happening". Then later in the semester...
on social media - If it's got pro camera work and lighting, I expect that to be dubbed, it's a performance, it's a short music video. If it's just plopping a phone down and filming yourself playing, I feel like the implication is authenticity, it's "look what I can do". Dubbing that feels dishonest
god I love toto
nice
lots of sound effects companies have some free sounds on their website, sometimes you have to give them your email. If you already have the GDC Soniss bundle that's a good list of companies to start with. I spent one afternoon doing this years ago and built a pretty decent free library
BBC Library is good to use as long as it's non-commercial sound-effects.bbcrewind.co.uk/search
I've done this a couple times, it's more an ongoing activity than a big free library. You record a sound for a library, you get a buncha sounds. good way to get people out and recording stuff too. I think you get a free bundle by giving them your email? I don't quite remember www.sfxswap.com
I think that's the one I had back in the day on ps2
ima go to round 1, I also have the millennial urge to not disturb my downstairs neighbor
the millennial urge to get back into DDR. again.
whoa
they really had to make sure you knew it was a girl hen
....what's on it?
that's 100% a haunted tape
i can't believe rabbits really look like big chungus
