We’ve raised our concerns directly with Save-On-Foods leadership. UFCW 1518 stands with immigrant workers & will always defend working people.

UFCW 1518 has written to the Jim Pattison Group about the decision to sell a Pattison-owned warehouse for conversion into an ICE processing facility.

We stand firmly against practices that dehumanize people anywhere — including the harms reported by victims impacted by ICE.

We stand with Indigenous Peoples in calling for meaningful action: listening to Survivors, implementing all the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action, and supporting Indigenous-led healing initiatives.

Reconciliation is not a symbolic gesture.

Today, we honour the children, Survivors, and communities impacted by Canada’s residential school system. We acknowledge a painful past — but we also commit to building a future rooted in truth, justice, and respect.

The BC Supreme Court upheld their right to bargain as one group, rejecting the employer's attempt to overturn the ruling. A clear message to employers: you can’t restructure to weaken workers’ collective power.💪🏽

Today on International Youth Day, we celebrate the power, resilience, and vision of young people everywhere.

Our young members are organizing, leading, and reshaping the future of work. They are not just the future of the labour movement. They are driving it forward right now.
