I visited the London Museum Docklands on the weekend. It's eye-opening from a historic point of view but also interesting to see how tools can be similar but serve distinct purposes.

My favourite edition of The Mabinogion is illustrated by Alan Lee. I particularly love this image of Gwydion coaxing Lleu Llaw Gyffes from the treetop: the wounded hero, transformed into a dying eagle after being struck down, being saved by the magic of Gwydion's song.
