3 years ago I didn't know anything about programming. Today I can implement feature requests within a couple working days.

For something I put off for so long, I'm incredibly glad I picked it up and learned.

First RE Remake is so good it's my favorite game in the series. I don't need the Action Combat enhancements of the new games in it.

We want to give a special shoutout to one of our community members, Kyrrma, who has been showcasing their incredible Duke Nukem: Zero Hour recomp mod that enables animations to the first person mode and really transforms the game. It's been really cool to see it be developed in real time!

Watched Twins because I wanted to go through Arnold Schwarzenegger movies. It sure was a way to spend an hour and a half. Not a good use of that time but, I'm not getting it back so

I've really enjoyed checking out the progress of builds in this game over the last year. The developer regularly updates even the demo and is quick to be on top of reported bugs.

If you only play one game during Next Fest (Which, you should play more, the point is checking out awesome demos) This is the one.

Unique Art Style, Engaging Combat, Equipment Based Progression like a traditional Metroidvania, this really is a unique game that is worth your time.

Their lead guitarist just suffered a brain aneurysm in January and they have been out for a bit but it looks like they might be ready to play again as they have a show lined up for the end of the month. Jealous of those that can go but I'll catch them next time they end up this way!

Musically it stretches a bit in a good way. You have the typical punk rock songs that are in your face that the band is known for and then you have a good mixture of calmer but still hitting songs. Definitely hope we get some more music videos for the album.

Good political commentary that speaks about failures across the board. Both with our politicians and each other, regardless of political party. It highlights some of the pointless infighting and aimless finger pointing while things that are arguably much more concerning things are getting worse.
