i feel like the constant drip feeding of bad news via news, socials and other platforms kinda makes it worse... we do live in the attention economy after all. knowing my scope of control does help; i cant change the bigger things but I can change whats immediate to me. going outside also kinda helps

the scaling looks logarithmic, might be a audio hardware/software sync thing. i did find someone having the same issue but no answer as to why, but it might have to do with your drivers for sure.

have you tried reinstalling the sound drivers, and are you using any sort of audio interface? also, if drag them to 0 or 100 do they then end up in sync?

i've personally found its partially the other person's observation skills and their energy to give detailed constructive feedback, but also being specific about what you're aiming for and any specific thing you'd like feedback on. sometimes just asking for it in calls gets you more solid feedback!

i'm also aware it’s harder since you’re well known in communities, which can make it more difficult to meet people who are genuine and not just interested in your public identity. but i'm sure you'll find someone dude, genuinely hope the best for you. just wanted to share my experience of it all.

then perhaps continue the search for a group or a person that better clicks with you. i am aware you're tired at this point and you might have tried many times, but i think a non-zero chance of something is still a chance. (but remember it is a two-way road when building relationships)

at the same time you definitely do eventually need a supportive group or a person that empathises with/ understands you and gives you the right feedback. it has to be the right people. you might want to take a break from all socials and recharge, even if that might be hard in your irl situation.
